How We Work
Spiritually Encourage
We spiritually encourage each one to fulfill their roles in the body of Christ.
Technically Equip
We technically equip leaders to implement a self-sustainable development model to overcome their organization’s weaknesses and threats.
Financially Support
We financially support local leaders with small grants to overcome their lack of resources and develop programs designed to help them achieve their mission.
Currently, Take Heart serves in Egypt, Iraq, and Nigeria, some of the most dangerous places for Christians in the world. The Open Doors 2024 World Watch List ranks Egypt 38th, Iraq 16th, and Nigeria 6th in the top 50 countries where it is most difficult to follow Jesus. As our team and resources grow, we hope our work reaches more persecuted Christians in communities around the world.
At Take Heart, we collaborate with local leaders in heavily persecuted regions, focusing on opportunities for sustainable development. We are committed to working alongside villages for a minimum of four years and supporting our local partners for up to seven years. Our approach involves training, equipping, and providing encouragement.
We also ensure that when our time is complete, each partner can keep going, fully equipped to serve the Christians in their communities. It’s all about sustainability.
Furthermore, we ensure that once our involvement concludes, each partner is fully equipped to continue their vital service to Christians in their communities. Our ultimate aim is to promote sustainability in all aspects of our work.
