Thousands of children are displaced, having lost their homes due to terrorist invasion. Many struggle under the weight of crushing poverty, while they also face constant discrimination and harassment. It’s not unusual that most of these children have endured or witnessed unspeakable acts of torture and abuse. Living in such conditions also means that childhood is interrupted, with a large percentage of children growing up illiterate and emotionally, spiritually, and mentally fragile.

For over a decade, Take Heart has come alongside these courageous girls and boys, offering them and their families spiritual encouragement, technical equipping, and financial support.
We have provided opportunities for spiritual formation and discipleship, education, leadership training, trauma relief, and medical intervention.
