“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11
The words of Jeremiah 29:11 were written to weary and oppressed Jews living in exile in Babylon. As followers of Jesus, we too are exiles in this world, and like the Jews in Babylon, our persecuted siblings in Christ feel the pangs of hostility and displacement.
Whether being chased out of their homes, being blocked from employment, being harassed, or even being kidnapped, tortured, and killed, Christians in Syria, Iraq, Egypt, and Nigeria are suffering every day because of their faith in Jesus.
This Christmas season, let’s remind our brothers and sisters in Christ that the Lord has good plans for them. Below you’ll find five incredible ways to give in Iraq, Egypt, Syria, and Nigeria.
