His friends call him Little Moses. He’s 23 years old and is deaf.
Take Heart has know Little Moses since we first began serving in northern Iraq. He was among the 850 families that ISIS forced from their homes in Karemlesh.
Today, Little Moses and his family are back home. But people with disabilities in Iraq receive little help and care, making the effects of persecution even more difficult.
But Lawrence has a special skill — jewelry making. He custom makes bracelets and sells them to help his family make ends meet. He also teaches others with disabilities how to make the jewelry.
You can buy some of Lawrence’s jewelry through Take Heart’s online store.
